While doing research for our ten year anniversary, we discovered that you’d traditionally give something ‘tin’ for a ten year anniversary. Its strength and durability are meant to symbolize something that has stood the test of time. So with that in mind, we’re looking at what TIN means to Oxford Media Factory…

Our Amazing Team…

Behind every great organisation is a great team, and without blowing our own trumpet, we’re a blooming great team. When Chris started OMF ten years ago, it was just Chris working with a handful of great freelancers. Over the next ten years the team has grown to what it is today:

Chris – Head Honcho

Hannah – Accounts and HR

George – Production Manager

Dom – Video Producer

Wilson – Videographer

Chloe – Marketing Executive

Tom – Business Development

Innovation

A growing team will naturally bring with it new ideas and innovation. The ideas and new practices that our team has brought to the table in the last ten years has been inspirational.

As well as new ideas, we have developed an efficient and slick way of working both with clients and internally. Using tools such as Basecamp and Frame.io has certainly helped this, but our own dynamic delivery system also allows us to work seamlessly with clients.

In 2011 Google+ was launched, iPhones were only on 4 and we were just starting to control our heating through apps on our phones with Nest. As you can imagine our equipment and editing software has changed and developed dramatically in ten years. We’re constantly seeking out the best and latest technology to make sure we’re always ahead of the curve.

Next Steps

Taking the time to reflect on these last ten years has been humbling. A lot has changed both professionally and personally for the team, with major milestones such as weddings, children, relocations, graduations and more!

The next steps for Oxford Media Factory are exciting; there’s a buzz of growth and change in the office and we’re all excited to see what happens next!

Lastly, we’d like to thank all our clients and cheerleaders for all the support over the last ten years. We wouldn’t be celebrating TIN if it wasn’t for you!

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for working with us on the video. I'm really happy with the results and they went beyond my expectations. You're a great team to work with and I hope we get the chance to work together more in the future."

Stevie Nixon, Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager, Oxera
